WR CASE Made US Military Stiletto Fixed Blade Fighting Knife RARE WWII Era

This knife is unmarked with no tang stamp. It is a rare WWII era "Stiletto" fighting knife made for the US Military by WR Case & Sons. These were made with several different blade finishes - this one appears to have the "plain" finish. Very few of these were stamped with the Case logo.

Overall length is 11-7/8 inches, blade length is 7 inches. Black Bakelite pommel, steel guard. Guard and pommel are both tight; handle has no damage.

Used - full blade with patina as the photos show. With original leather belt sheath. Sheath is all intact; needs cleaning and oiling. The "keeper" strap on the sheath is intact but has one small split - see last photo.

Any knives listed as having STAG handles have handles made of Sambar deer antler - naturally shed.
