Here is a vintage S & S Helle Holmedal Norge fixed blade hunting knife. This is a rare beauty that does need a bit of TLC. The handle is a stacked leather with a blonde wood hidden tang and butte with a brass pomel. The blade is a carbon steel that is marked S&S Helle, Holmedal, Norge.

It has a plain edge that does have bit of a knick or small gouge out of it toward the point. The knife overall is about 7.5" with a 3.75" handle and 3.75 blade. This blade comes with the original leather sheath that is marked Jellkniven, Norge. This is a good knife that could be outstanding with the proper TLC.
