VINTAGE WESTERN USA HUNTING KNIFE MODEL 71 w/ORIGINAL GENUINE LEATHER SHEATH. The balance, the clean lines.

The stacked letter, the brilliant brass, the blade--all feel right. This beautiful piece of hardware doesn't have the sparkling blade which I saw in a previous knife I listed. It's a satin effect. It's not glitz and glamour.

It's not a knife you hang over the fireplace. This knife is screaming to leave the house.

This warrior wants to go to work. It's 9.0 inches in length with a 5.0 inch blade. The pictured dollar bill is simply to give you a feeling of size compared to a proportional known object.

This knife has lived it's long life in gun and knife shows. I see no evidence it's ever been sharpened or carried. It's a preowned knife, but I know the deceased former owner.

I would bet the farm he bought this knife in a San Antonio Gun and Knife Show. San Antonio was his favorite site for gun shows. It shouldn't be perfect. I've got to find something wrong with it. It can't be graded 100%.

The stacked leather is thirsty. I know it's thirsty. It needs a taste of leather oil, but not by me. By the next fortunate owner who holds this knife. I would grade it at 99%.
