Vintage Bruce Gillespie Bird and Trout fixed blade knife

What a graceful, delicate design! Handmade by celebrated custom knife maker Bruce Gillespie. Known for his flowing, artistic designs and his hollow-ground, high swedge blades. His work is very sought after and highly collectable.

This example is mirror polished, full tang carbon steel. More than likely his preferred D-2. Overall length is 7 1/2in. Cutting edge is 3 3/4in. Weighs 2.8 ozs w/o sheath.

This is very lightly used if used at all. Blade edge is original as far as I can tell. Wood handle scales are tight are crack/split free. The sheath is made in America by Gordons Leatherworks out of Ohio and is truly of great quality and fit.

A fantastic addition to any high-end collection.
