Vintage 1966 3rd generation of the Western USA W49 Bowie knife with the original leather sheath and the original box and paperwork. The knife has a 9 1/4 full tang blade, brass hand guard, marked BOWIE of the later W49 markings which first appeared the following year, and Rosewood handles and is 14 1/2 overall. The knife has very few minor pepper spots but looks to be in excellent unused condition and still having the mirror polished blade and the original factory edge. The leather sheath is also in excellent condition showing some a slight discoloring, age but still unused and with all stitching intact.

The original box is also in fair condition showing tears at the back side corners and storage wear. Please see all pictures as the most accurate part of the description.
