A very rare and complete ensemble of 12 silverplated knife rests depicting various game and hunt animals from the early 1930s in their original box. Animal-themed knife rests were very popular in the 1930s because of Benjamin Rabiers designs. A few knife rest sets were produced illustrating Rabiers drawings mostly farm animals or birds.
