MORSETH, BRUSLETTO BLADE HANDMADE MODEL 1 HUNTING KNIFE, WITH RARE PARALLEL STAMP, c. 9 1/4" KNIFE, 4 3/4" saber and hollow ground slightly clip blade, marked BRUSLETT0. " The maker's name "MORSETH is stamped parallel to the blade, since there is not enough room on the ricasso. This is rare, probably made by Harry and Steve.

The blade appears to be full or about full, with some light patina and a tiny amount of light pitting in a place or two. Half nickel silver guard, slightly curved. One piece round swell center exotic hardwood (either purple heart or cocobolo Rosewood) handle, with birds head shaped pommel, with countersunk brass nut. Between the guard and the handle are a few white, red and black thin fiber spacers. The pommel is drilled for a lanyard.

This is a very attractive knife. Comes with its original Morseth Saf-lock leather scabbard, with substantial light tan stitching. The back is stamped near the top with the patent number and below that MORSETH-CLINTON, WASH. We rate the condition of our knives on the following scale.

In addition, it sells itself in a powerful way. Knife is the same as it was when it was produced. May have a minor crack in a handle, or a freckle on the blade, but absolutely no evidence of use or sharpening. Any deviation from mint is minor.

If the knife has been expertly cleaned, it must appear as mint, full blades, no evidence of sharpening or use. Knife is in excellent condition.

Handles are in fine shape. Blades show only slight wear, or discoloration. Unless otherwise stated blades and handles are original.

Knife is in very good condition. Blades may show up to 10% wear. Blades are original (unless otherwise stated), but may not snap. Handles are original (unless otherwise stated) but may show damage. Blades or back springs may be pitted.
