Condition is very good and solid - tang is nice and tight... Photos tell the rest of the story. No excessive wear or damage, just light and honest signs of wear, such as a few scratches and spots here and there on the blade. There is some light pitting on the spine of the handle between the antler/stag covers. Most would probably come off with steel wool, but being a purist I've just left it alone.
Very unusual-looking rivets in the handles. The handles are in beautiful shape, no chips or cracks or anything of that nature. The whole knife from one end to the other screams very, very well-made. I'm guessing the sheath isn't original, as it looks much newer than 50 years old, and the styling of it isn't exactly what I've seen on other Pumas I've looked at.It is decent quality and works fine.
