This knife comes with a handmade leather sheath. This means that I grind my blades free hand without jigs or fixtures: they are not premade blade blanks. Everything is done freehand from cutting out the blades, hand grinding them, heat treating, fitting the handles, to making the mosaic pins that I embellish the handles with. I don't use any milling machines or lathes, but hand make and fit all the components that go into every one of my knives. I have been making knives since 1994 when R. Nolen walked into my Body Shop to have his Suburban repaired. Since that time, it has been a hobby until 2004, when I went into making knives full time.
