MARBLE'S vintage hunting camp RARE survival Gladstone knife USA Stag TRAILMAKER

Beautiful USA made Marble's 7 Trailmaker Bowie knife. Made is Gladstone, MI USA. Appears to be stag handle, though probably jigged bone. Lightly used, and in great shape.

Just found out that this handle is "Dymar Stag". This would be a the "7" Trailmake made during Mike Stewart era of Marble's. What makes this different is the Dymar Stag handle which started on Blackjacks in 1995, most 7 inch Trail Makers were leather, Stag. I've had this knife for awhile and just don't use it.

There is nothing wrong with it at all. Great solid knife that will last several lifetimes if cared for. I can put more pics up or answer questions promptly. From what I have gathered, the 7 Trailmaker came out in the 50's. Sometime in the 90's the company was operated by Mike Stewart who. Revitalized the company for a few years. Apparently there was a large stock of old blades found that were used for some of his knives. The spacers on this handle date this knife to the year 2000. I have no way of knowing if the steel in this blade is from the old steel or if it was the newer steel. Either way, this is an awesome knife and will serve you well.
