Large German Soligen Bowie Hunting Knife with Piggyback Sheath Vintage W. Willms

The knife measures 13.3 long from end to end. The blade measures 7 long.

The blade is marked Solingen and also what looks to be W. The blade shows wear and has scratches and heavy tarnish. The handle has an elk or deer carved in it on one side. The handle looks to be stag. The leather washers above the stag part has a dented in section (see pic 11).

The sheath shows heavy wear with some damage. There are some places that have been stitched back up. The straps have heavy cracking. The small piggyback part that would hold a smaller knife is split some on the top edge. The back looks to have a word or name and also what looks like number made with small round indentions (see last two pics).

I do not have the small knife that goes in the piggyback section of the sheath. Please take a look at all of the pictures for condition.
