James Jackson Custom English Bowie Handmade Knife Rare vtg Sheffield Rare Silver

Here for your consideration is a handmade Bowie knife by Master Bladesmith and former Armourer to Her Majesty the Queen, James L. His knives are rarely offered for sale. It measures a massive 16" overall with a 10 5/8" blade. Absolutely fantastic wood handles inset with silver pins. The butt cap is sculpted silver. The sheath alone is a work of art. Wood sheath covered with leather and fittings of silver. The silver throat is marked J.

Very nice patina on the silver fittings. Could be polished if desired but I personally like the patina. The knife has not been used but it does have a couple small spots of oxidation on the blade near the handle.
