This a James Behring Woodcraft style knife with a Rare Stainless Steel blade. It has a beautiful sambar stag handle with black, ivory micarta and copper spacers along with a very nice copper gurad that has started to gain a slight patina, which makes it even nicer looking in my opinion. There is also a single hand-peened copper pin going through the hidden tang handle. The blade features James' hammer-mark technique and has a slight lift to the top edge, which is common to the woodcraft style. The stamp on the right side has two capital "S" letters to signify stainless steel, which I believe is 440C.
The left stamp says: J. The hollow ground blade is exactly 4-1/2" from tip to guard, and overall length is 8.5". Comes with James' proprietary brown leather sheath. Also includes James Behring zippered case. Please look at the photos carefully, for that is the exact knife you will receive.
