This is an excellent example of a massive bowie knife that would be perfect for camping as well as combat or survival chores. It is in excellent condition other than some light scratches on the side of the blade near the spine (see pics). This appears to have come from the knife being inserted and removed from the sheath.

These Fallkniven knives use a laminated steel that includes a VG-10 core which is a very hard steel. The steel on the sides is substantially softer. The combination makes a very tough knife that holds an edge extremely well. It is a ten inch blade and over a quarter inch thick.
