Eddie Bauer Orange Handle Mark ll Gerber Knife Eb Sheath + EB Steel
Ultra Rare Eddie Bauer Gerber Mark ll or Mark 2 Orange handled Knife. First seen in 1971 with an estimated number of between 100 and 200 total knives ever manufactured for the Eddie Bauer outdoor outfitters.
No serial numbers were used with these knives and the steels were not marked Gerber either. Original tie downs on the sheath and the steel also. The steel and sheath are correctly marked and you can review these details on the Gerber Mark ll site. Stains noted on the back of the sheath and around the hold down snap. The knife is in very good but slightly used condition with some light surface scratches and scuffs on the blade. The original blade grind is visible throughout the blade. Look at the photos to see these details. The handle and guard show light chips that are also shown in the photos. The knife show light use, but as rare as these are, this one is in extra fine condition compared th the several others I have seen. Small nicks on both ends of the black guard, and on the orange near the pommel and a series os nicks on the handle on 1 side. All shown clearly in the photos.
