E. C. Solingen L, Germany Made 8 Inch Bladed Bowie Vintage Knife

Solingen Model 8X large Bowie/hunting knife, made in Solingen, West Germany. The "8X" denotes the approximately 8 ¼ -inch blade. Handle: genuine stag, with black and brass spacers.

Construction: large clip-point blade with a single fuller, brass guard and aluminum pommel. Sheath is original to the knife according to who I bought it from. Solingen Germany 8X Bowie Knife - 8 ¼? Blade, Stag Handle & Sheath.

Blade has seen some sharpening and polishing over the years, but geometry is like new. Light hazing if you look hard. Handle is in excellent condition. All is right and tight. 80 year old sheath is in very good to excellent condition.
