This handmade, drop point, fixed blade hunting knife was made by Dave Ricke, from West Bend, WI, and is in excellent condition. It is made from a 1/8 thick piece of what we believe is CPM154 steel (although it could be 440C or ATS-34), with a satin finish. The handle appears to be Sambar Stag - and a really nice pair of matching scales.
They are pinned in 2 places with Mosaic pins. The blade is in unused and unsharpened condition, and has some file-work done on the spine.
The bolster is 416 stainless steel, and has some very fine, hard-to-see, marks from insertion and removal from the sheath. There is also a 416SS lined lanyard hole.It comes with a leather pouch-type belt sheath, made by Bob Schrap of Wauwatosa, WI. A great knife for EDC, or for the hunting season. This knife comes from a life-long collection of knives that were well-taken care of, and with very few exceptions, properly stored. You are always welcome to contact me for additional pictures.
We will consider, and respond to all reasonable Best Offers on any knife. Never used, carried or sharpened. Windy City Knives is a dealer of custom, handmade and collectible knives.
