COLT- Barry Wood vintage folding knife

The handle material is a'hand lay-up' of burgundy colored canvas micarta. The blade is of high grade stainless steel, and bronze was used to make the inner-locking liner. Its unique folding, or rather pivoting lock-blade mechanism didn't lend itself to mass production methods hence few were ever made. All in all it was a costly knife in terms of time & material and COLT soon ended the contract.

The knife is in' pristine condition, never sharpened & uncarried' and comes with COLT sheath & box. This is probably as good an investment as collectible knives get... Extra nice for the Colt firearms enthusiast! Length (closed) - 4 1/4 inches (11 cm). Length (opened) - 7 1/2 inches (19 cm).

Length of blade - 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm). Width of blade - 1 1/4 inches (32 mm). Thickness of knife - 1/2 inch (13 mm).
