Cold Steel 13QBN 3V Master Tanto DLC Fixed Blade Knife with Secure-Ex Sheath 3-V. Cold Steel 13QBN 3V Master Tanto Fixed Blade Knife with Secure-Ex Sheath and Black DLC Coated CPM 3-V Blade. This knife is new in the box. However, this knife is also a survivor of a fire that ravaged one of my distributors warehouses.

The knife itself was not damaged in the fire, but the box has soot on it which I have tried to wipe away. The box is still dirty (especially on top), but not bad.

You can still detect the very faint smell of smoke on the box. The knife inside is in excellent pristine! Condition, but the box is obviously not quite 100%.

The knife blade still has the factory oil on it, in fact. Photos shown are of the EXACT knife and box you will receive. Our Japanese San Mai III® blades have been a Cold Steel staple for decades. Coveted by Martial Artists and knife collectors alike, they are still much in demand, but these luxury fixed blades are only produced in very limited numbers. With this in mind, we created the Nightfall Series - Made with the same level of quality and attention to detail as our Japanese classics but trading San Mai® for premium American CPM 3-V powdered super steel.

The CPM 3-V Master Tanto features a highly wear-resistant DLC (diamond like) coating, and honed to a screamingly sharp edge. Blade length is 6", Handle is 5 1/2" long Kray-Ex, Steel is US CPM 3-V High Carbon with DLC Coating, Weight is 9 1/2 oz, Blade Thickness is 5mm, Overall length is 11 1/2, and comes with Secure-Ex sheath.
