THIS IS A VERY NICE AND RARE CASE XX PIG STICKER THAT WAS USED BY FARMERS AND A LOT OF MILITARY PERSONNEL IN WW 2. IT WAS MADE BY CASE AROUND THE 1940's 58 TO 82 YEARS OLD AND IS STILL IN GREAT SHAPE FOR IT'S LAST 80 YEARS.
IT IS A LARGE KNIFE WITH A LONG SINGLE-EDGED SHARPENED BLADE (RAZOR SHARP) WITH A SPEAR POINT. THE BLADE HAS A FULL TANG AND MEASURES 6LONG.IT HAS BEEN RESHARPENED AND DOES HAVE SCRATCHES BUT IS RAZOR SHARP. THE TANG IS STAMPED CASE ON ONE SIDE VERY CLEARLY, (SEE PICTURES). THE KNIFE MEASURES 10 OVERALL AND IS AS TIGHT AS THEY COME. IT HAS NICE AND TIGHT WOOD HANDLES WITH ONE HAIR LINE CRACK ON ONE SIDE BUT NO CHIPS OR ANY OTHER IMPERFECTIONS WITH 3 LARGE BRASS PINS ON EACH SIDE.
THIS IS A REALLY OLDER CASE KNIFE THAT HAS BEEN TAKEN GOOD CARE OF FOR MANY YEARS NOW. IT COMES WITH THE THICK LEATHER SHEATH SOME OF THE STITCHING IS BROKEN BUT THE RIVETS ARE TIGHT, NO HANDLE STRAP, (COULD BE ADDED) IN OKAY CONDITION, NO TEARS.
