CASE XX USA 1979, 523-5 SSP "1879 BRADFORD CENTENNIAL 1979" Hunting Knife NOS. This knife is one of many knives that came from my father-in-law's hardware store.

Genuine Jigged Stag / Antler Handles. Nickel/silver guard and aluminum knob. There is a small tarnished area on the guard as a result of verdigris "green stuff" that was on the guard and a dull area on the knob. Case Tru-sharp surgical steel 5-1/4 blade. Concave ground satin glaze finish.

Stamped on the blade is "1879 BRADFORD CENTENNIAL 1979" in Red print. Genuine leather sheath with a CASE-XX design. I personally have not seen a 523-5 SSP knife with the blade stamping or a CASE_XX sheath like this one.
