The Buck 639 Fieldmate knife was introduced in 1986 and remained in production until approximately 1994. Designed as a more compact and affordable version of the Buckmaster series, it features a 5-5/8 420HC stainless steel clip-point blade.

The handle is made of Kraton, a durable elastopolymer. This knife was produced in various configurations, including models with different handle materials and versions with and without sawteeth on the blade's spine. His particular model does not feature sawteeth on the spine, making it a unique variant. The overall length is 10-1/8. It comes with a Buck Cordura sheath.

Condition: The knife is in very good condition. The blade has a few light scuffs from being inserted into and removed from the plastic insert inside the sheath.

The handle has one short scratch; otherwise, it is in excellent condition. The sheath is also in excellent condition. Pictures are part of the description.
