(Marbles Safety Ax) hunting knife 1907. I was told that the knife had always been with the sheath and matching holster. The tang is marked M. The knife measures 10 1/2" overall with a 5 3/4" blade. The blade shows almost no sign of being sharpened and is of full dimension and has not been polished since leaving the factory.

The stag handle is secured by four brass pins and there is no movement in the fitting. This is an extraordinary example of a very early Marbles knife that is fit for the finest collection.
