I was given this large old knife by a neighbor, he knew my interest in knives and gave it to me after helping him remove a dead tree several years ago. He found it in his late father-in-law's garage when they were cleaning it out.

Appears to be hand forged by looking at the bumpy lower spine of the blade, the grinding marks are apparent on the sides of the blade and look to me more like from an old style grinding wheel than an electric one, although I'm not an expert. The handle pins look to be brass and the other iron? About 11 1/2" long with about 7 1/4" blade. It was covered in old grease and grime when given to me and tried to clean it up the best I could without going overboard.
