Scarce early XX era (1940s to 50s) Twin Finn hunting knife set. Two stag-handled fixed blade hunting knives in one combination belt sheath. These sets are hard to find. Both knives have the CASE Sans Serif stamping from 1950s era or earlier.
No pattern number marked on either knife. Knife #1 - 516-5 hunting knife. 5 blade length, 9 overall length. Knife #2 - M5 Finn fixed blade hunting knife. 3-1/4 blade length, 6-1/2 overall length.Both knives have never been sharpened or used original factory finish and edges. The smaller knife has a MINT blade. The larger knife has some very minor tarnish specks on the chrome-plated finish, and a few light scratches.
Both knives have nice genuine stag handles, no cracks. Each knife shows some minor surface tarnish where exposed (no chrome plating) on the full tangs. The sheath is near mint shows minor darkening of the leather from age but is all intact. Includes the older Case pumpkin box shown in the photos this is an original older Case box, but not original to this set. The knife shown in the photos is the exact knife that you will receive.
