Antique 1950's Era Queen Cutlery #80 Fixed Blade Hunting Knives Two-Knife Set

This is a scarce Queen Steel two-knife "combo" fixed blade hunting knife set. Q with crown is the tang stamp on each knife. Made by Queen Cutlery Company in Titusville, PA.

1950's to early 1960's. Queen pattern #80 fixed blade hunting knife set. Large knife - 8" OAL, 4-1/2" blade. Small knife - 6" OAL, 3" blade. Each knife has Winterbottom bovine bone handles, no cracks or chips. On each knife, the aluminum guard and knob are both tight no wobble. Each shows some sharpening and use, full blades with patina, staining. As the photos show, the small knife has a tiny bit of the tip missing. Sheath is in excellent condition with all stitching intact.

A rare set in solid used condition! The handles on each knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus. The knife shown in the photos is the exact knife that you will receive.
