This Fine Example of English Cutlery is Stamped with a Touchmark of a " English Judge wearing a wig, with the words " FOR YOURSELF" meaning Judge for Yourself with " JOSEPH MILLS 96 SCOTLAND ST SHEFFIELD stamped on the Blade. The touch mark Stamping is highly detailed [Note see images for further detail]. The Knife measures 11 1/4" long overall, The blade measures 7" long. The handle is in good condition for its age and is very Solid. Overall a Great looking Example of Early to mid 1800s Sheffield Cutlery imported for Trade in the American West.
