1950's Vintage WESTERN BOULDER COLO USA Hunting Knife & Hatchet Combo Set & Case

In the 1950's and 1960's in Boulder, Colorado, this item is a Rare Vintage Western Cutlery Combination Fixed Blade Hunting / Skinning Knife and Hatchet Set with Western Genuine Leather Embossed Acorn and Oak Leaf Pattern Sheath Set. It comes to you in excellent minus condition (most people would consider it excellent). Minus because hatchet and knife have been previously lightly, properly sharpened and they show some really minor scratches from very light use. No blade, hand guard or pommel wobble!

Both blades are at least 99% full! Both handle patterns match perfectly and both pieces are really tight and really clean! Both sheaths have strong snap straps, solid pins and no worn or missing stitches and they fit both knife and hatchet perfectly! Hatchet has an overall length of about 10 3/4", blade width is about 4 1/4", blade edge is 2 1/2" and neck is marked, "WESTERN Boulder, Colo. PAT'D Made in U.

Knife overall length is 8 3/4", blade length is 4 1/2", tang is marked, WESTERN Boulder, Colo. " and hand guard is marked, "L66. Both pieces sport stacked leather handles, red, white and black spacers, solid brass hand guard and aluminum eagle head pommels. All sales are final on this item. Simply one fine old outfit!
