It features a 5 3/4 carbon steel blade with a clip point, perfect for hunting and everyday carry. This Bowie style knife is 10.5 inches long and comes with a leather sheath. The blade is RAZOR SHARP and has been sharpened many times in the past 100 plus years. The blade has spots of surface rust and corrosion. One side of the ricasso is stamped TELL GERMANY.

This full tang knife has a flat leather cord wrapped handle. The hand guard is steel. The full tang blade is secure but wobbly in the leather handle. The leather sheath fits and protects the knife but it is falling apart with the stitching coming loose, stained with paint and the snap strap is broken.

A new leather sheath is an inexpensive and good wintertime project to make for this antique knife! A VERY NICE ANTIQUE Made in Germany Bowie Hunting Knife. I could find very little on line about Tell Germany Bowie Knives.
