Western Axe-Hunter Combination L6610 Vintage Hunting Knife Hatchet Combo

Here is a vintage Western Cutlery Axe-Hunter Combination. Comes with an L66 hunting knife and a hatchet. The knife and the hatchet do not appear to have been used. Although both of them have corrosion (pitting /rust) on their tangs by the leather handle. They both have a rainbow colored patina that does not want to just rub off.

According to the little pink slip of paper inside the box it's possible that this is the jeweler's lacquer that they coated these blades with at the factory. The hatchet has some black corrosion/pitting on one side. Both sheaths are in good condition and look like they have not been worn. They both have a few marks here and there. This is a very cool piece of Americana.
