Western W49, 1968, Bowie knife with sheath in excellent condition. This model is the first "official" W49, being the first to actually use the W49 marking on the brass hand guard. It has Rosewood handles held with small brass pins. 9 1/2 high carbon steel blade, showing only minor, faint, age freckles, with the factory edge. The leather sheath is the standard "dangler" style showing storage wear and having the leather leg tie down.
