Vintage Remington UMC RH 38 8 Hunting Knife. This beautiful Remington is one of the rarest of them all. It is in absolute awesome condition with just three small dots of tarnish. It has never been sharpened and has no chips, dings, rust or scratches on the blade, handle or pummel. The bolster and guard are made of nickel silver and the leather handle is in very nice condition.
The handle has no spaces between the spacers and is tight against the pummel and guard. Screw is not damaged and is in beautiful condition.
The blade is 8" long and measures 12 1/2" overall!! It comes with the original sheath. There are very few left for sale in this condition.
The UMC stands for "Union Metallic Cartridge Company" which combined with Remington Arms Company in 1912 and lasted till 1933 to become Remington Dupont. Remington was only in knife production for 20 years and there is none like the RH 38 to this day!!! The most rare of them all! Will be well packed for mailing.
