Old Large German Hunting Knife Vintage Edge Brand Original Buffalo Skinner #048... The sweeping blade is about 8 3/8, having a clean and very sharp edge. It feels "really large" in my hand. The genuine stag handle slabs are gorgeous. I see no remarkable damage.

It looks like the pommel cap has been off and rescued in the past. Probably to replace the spacers. It is at least 98% tight, but w/ some small grind marks. The carbon steel has patina and some fine pitting. Note the thumb grooves on spine.

There is some play in the brass guard. No too much, but it exists. This has been a well used and well cared for knife. Could last a very long time to come. Note I have listed a smaller blade variation, same maker.
