Just one of the very nice knives I have listed this week. VERY old Swedish hunting knife, I believe this knife dates to the 1890s. I cannot even begin to tell you how cool this old knife is! The knife has such amazing detail and attention to quality, it is truly a work of art! The sheath and knife were both made in the old knife making city of Eskilstuna, Sweden, although the sheath was made by a different maker. Possibly a maker that specialized in sheaths?

While I have seen metal sheaths with a similar shape, I have never seen one with the fine scrolling cutouts, almost like filigree. The etching is also very detailed!

The knife is in good used condition the handle is tight and free of cracks. This knife would be a great addition to even the most discerning collectors case! This a very rare knife that will only increase in value! This is not my occupation, so I wont get too long winded about customer service.
